-Anais Nin

Hi, I’m Leah!

I have always been interested in psychology and the convergence of the mind, body and human behavior. It was my interest in the field, along with the influences of a few key events and individuals in my early life, that eventually led me into the helping profession.

I obtained my Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2011 from a Walla Walla University outreach program in Billings, MT. Throughout this time, I was fortunate to have a variety of experiences and postions in the school system and in outpatient mental and behavioral health centers. I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Montana in 2017 and soon after began working in private practice. I find it very rewarding to help others by providing a safe relationship and space to do so.

I enjoy working with adolescents and young adults seeking help with:

ADHD (Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder)

Anxiety (Generalized, Social)

Depression

Individuals and Families dealing with Cancer

Parenting Support

Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Complex Traumas (C-PTSD)

Relationship & Attachment Issues

Self-Esteem Issues

If I am not in the office, I am most likely finding a new adventure with my three children, on my yoga mat or drinking coffee/tea/lacroix (depending on the time of day) with my nose in a book.

I believe in an integrated approach that focuses on your individual strengths, needs, and goals—allowing for personal growth and acceptance through self-exploration, value-oriented goal-setting & self-compassion.
